Maternity/Family Shoot

I love shooting at new locations that I've never been before. It's fun to try new things and get creative all over again. :) This park was beautiful and so was this family! Thanks, Juanita, for the opportunity to do your pictures!

I don't know if gorgeousness is a word. So I made it up because that is the only word I can think of to describe this beautiful pregnant Mama--and HELLO??!!! WHO looks like this at 32 weeks pregnant??!!!!

Heroes and Big Brown Eyes

Once in a while you get a chance to meet an everyday hero---or a whole family of heroes. This photo shoot was one of those chances for me. Ashley and her beautiful children showed up in coordinating fall colors to have some photos taken for daddy, who is fighting the war on terror in Iraq. He was able to come home for one week when their youngest baby was born, but other than that, he hasn't seen the baby at all. There are women and men all over America doing what Ashley is--pressing on day by day until their spouse returns home. These are everyday heroes! Thank you, Ashley for the sacrifice that you make each day so that your husband can serve our country. Your Mom seems like a wonderful support system for you and I'm glad that you have her, but I'm sure you are counting down the days until your man is home again.

I'm Back!

I'm back from maternity leave! I did a great session this past weekend and have several more booked throughout this month to December that I'm so excited about! Here's a preview of what I'm working on right now! I found a great new location to shoot that is perfect, and isn't this little boy just darling? His big brown eyes just melted my heart the whole time. :)
